Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• An internationally recognised professional accountancy qualification, such as CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA or an equivalent designation.
• A minimum of five years of recent experience within public accounting, external audit or an equivalent professional services organisation.
• Strong experience managing external audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Experience leading, supervising and reviewing the work of audit teams.
• Strong working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and International Standards on Auditing.
• Exposure to US GAAP would be advantageous, particularly when working with internationally structured or US-linked clients.
• Strong client-management, commercial and organisational skills.
• The ability to manage several engagements and competing priorities while maintaining high standards of quality.

Experience within banking, capital markets, private equity, insurance, reinsurance or another regulated financial-services environment would be particularly valuable.
